The daylong SWIFT (Smart Vehicles, Intelligent Freight, and Transportation) summit will include industry updates, technology demonstrations, panel discussions, and a networking mixer. The organization SVIT (Smart Vehicles and Intelligent Transportation) is a P3 partnership bringing together government, academia, and industry to promote South Arizona as a regional hub for the industry in this technology sector. The vision of SVIT is for Southern Arizona to be an industry leader in developing and employing smart vehicle and intelligent transportation technologies to address community needs, attract and grow the industry and drive our economy. Initiatives underway will be provided in the regional update. The Summit encourages industries to attend and participate.
